Our 5-yr-old grandson loves to take this dump truck apart and reassemble it repeatedly with the battery-operated screwdriver. He also loads the truck with toys and integrates it into his other play activities. So we have purchased take-apart dump trucks for our younger grandsons for Christmas.

My 4-year-old loves trucks and taking things apart so I thought this would be perfect and it is! He has spent a lot of time playing with it since we gave it to him for his birthday two weeks ago. It's hard to say whether it will hold up since it has been such a short time but it seems like it will. A nice bonus has been the eye-hand coordination and learning to drill in and out that he's getting with this toy.

I see that Toys 'R Us will soon be carrying for about half of what I paid for it.

The drill is lots of fun with three different attachments to add variety. I just wish there were more pieces to take apart. My grandson is 4-1/2 and had it mastered in a short time. Probably a great purchase for him at age 3 so he could enjoy it longer. Good quality.
